The European Commission (EC) published a survey to receive feedback about European innovation policy.
Five years after the publication of the Innovation Union, which is the EC’s flagship initiative of the Europe 2020 strategy to boost Europe's capacity to innovate, the EC is reviewing its implementation. The survey consists of questions related to the six main building blocks of the Innovation Union, namely strengthening the knowledge base and reducing fragmentation; getting good ideas to market; maximising social and territorial cohesion; pooling forces to achieve breakthroughs: European Innovation Partnerships; leveraging our policies externally; making it happen. The input will be used to feed the debate at the conference 'A new start for Europe: Opening up to an ERA of Innovation', from 22-23 June in Brussels. Stakeholders can give input until 15 May 2015.
